Justin's People Like Me was named #7 "Best Country Album of 2011" and "In Jail" was named #9 "Best Country Song of 2011." The list published by C.M. Justin Haigh – People Like Me (Apache Ranch)
This album features a mixture of originals like hit lead single “All My Best Friends (Are Behind Bars),” Texas songwriters like Kevin Higgins (“Gathering Dust” and “Monahans” and great Nashville sourced songs like “Is It Still Cheatin’” (writers are Jamey Johnson, Jerrod Niemann and Randy Houser) and the title track (written by Lee Thomas Miller and Kelley Lovelace). With a collection of great songs what perhaps is most striking is Haigh’s stone

Country artist Justin Haigh was in New York this week along with his key business associates, and together they've made a pretty formidable team in terms of making a dent in the new era of music marketing--country music marketing in particular.
"There are new rules now in the business," said Pathfinder Management's Jim Della Croce, who manages Haigh and also works with the country music likes of John Anderson, Megan Rae and Nicole

Album reviews suck to write...at least for me. "I need to do an album review," are generally words I don't enjoy saying to myself, which is why I pretty much avoid doing them at all costs. I love listening to new CDs, but when it comes to putting my thoughts about the music down in any sort of interesting arrangement that I think someone may be able to understand, it befuddles me. I sit and stare at my screen, twiddle my thumbs, do some laundry, make coffee, pick on the cats, and then eventually give up and pass the CD onto

Justin Haigh- People Like Me
August 15, 2011
With a voice that consistently reminds of Tracy Lawrence, Justin Haigh’s People Like Me delivers up an incredible collection of 12 exceptional neo-traditional songs that make it easily one of the top ten albums thus far this year. With a collection of writers on board that any artist would cross deserts for- Randy Houser, Jerrod Niemann, Bobby Pinson, Kelley Lovelace, Erv Woolsey (George Strait’s manager), Mary Gauthier, and Jamey Johnson- the tracks worth mentioning are

(July 24, 2011) Haigh has got to be one of the best kept secrets in contemporary country music today. I recently learned of him thanks to this review by C.M. Wilcox over at Country California and it’ll likely be one of the best country music discoveries I make all year. This first single from his sophomore album is a toe-tapping delight that will have you singing along and cracking a cold one by the time you hit the repeat button. The tight, swinging honky tonk arrangements give Haigh’s tremendous twang plenty of
